The property is dotted with remnants of historic mill machinery and foundations with the home cantilevered over the Mad River. In response to the home’s dramatic entry a bluestone landing organizes the circulation around the site. Stone fine paths flanked by gardens lead to either side of the house and to the river. Stone steps lead to a small cottage which sits within an expansive woodland garden.
